Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has mastered the idea of giving midfielder Frank Lampard a one-year extension despite Jose desperate on keeping the veteran at least for one more year at Stamford Bridge.
The Britain, who is has already been selected in for World Cup for his Country , told in a recent interview that he wants to play for The Blues for another three years but soon it broke out that Abramovich has vetoed his idea of giving away the Legend..
The 35-year-old has told that if Chelsea don't sign him, he will leave football and retire, as he doesn't want to play for any other club, ending his 13-year association with the West-London club.
Abramovich has informed Mourinho that he wants to build a younger more strong and a hardcore team, and the Russian owner wants him (Lampard) to leave the club this Summer.
