Chelsea and Arsenal target may be forced out of club
Stephan El Shaarawy could be on his way out of the San Siro
Premier League duo Arsenal and Chelsea have been given a huge boost in their pursuit for AC Milan forward Stephan El Shaarawy, after his agent has admitted that he may be forced to quit the club in the Summer.
The Italian striker is keen to stay in his homeland with Milan, but due to numerous injuries suffered this season, his place in the first-team has gone and he is slowly falling down the pecking order under new manager Clarence Seedorf.
The 21-year-old is highly rated in European football and is predicted a big future, but serious injuries this season, including a broken foot and a thigh strain, has seriously halted his progression.
In fact, the injuries meant El Shaarawy could only feature six times for Milan this season in the league, and his agent has admitted that a move away could be likely with Milan willing to sell.
"He always put in the performances when fit and his last two appearances showed he has found his form after a long lay-off," his agent and brother, Manuel El Shaarawy, told Football Italia.
"Will his future be at Milan? We'll have to wait and see what the club decides.
"Stephan is certainly an important player, but there are many changes going on.
"He has always been a Milan fan, so the intention is to stay, but we need to evaluate all the situations. We have to see what Milan decides."
