Samuel Eto'o being targeted by English rivals

Tottenham target Samuel Eto'o

Spurs are set to offer the Chelsea striker a two-year deal at White Hart Lane
Tottenham are lining up a cheeky move for Chelsea striker Samuel Eto'o. Spurs are set to offer the forward a two-year deal at White Hart Lane.
The Cameroon international is currently still under contract at Stamford Bridge, but his deal expires in a few weeks time. Although Jose Mourinho has sounded out the player's agent over a move, it is believed the 33-year old is keen on a move away from the Blues.
Now, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is preparing to step in and offer him a two-year contract. There has been interest from several other clubs (sides from Australia, America, Italy and Spain, including old club Real Mallorca have all registered an interest) but Spurs are confident they can land Eto'o with the two-year deal and the fact he could stay in London and continue to play in the Premier League.
Spurs are currently without a manager after their sacking of Tim Sherwood, so technical director Franco Baldini is helping the club to identify transfer targets and make bids for players.
